This passage describes mostly ASR's feelings when for the first time Khushi took the lead and showed
her affection towards him.
That moment was badly affecting my mind until
I penned it down. I wrote it long back, putting on the blog now.
It seemed like eternity to him, something
that never happened before. The moment she put her hands round his fair
face, he was completely blown off. Vulnerable, yes, that was what he
became.
His eyes tried to fight back the tears but in vain as
one tiny drop of tear rolled down his cheek to be wiped out by her
tenderly.
At that very instant, all he wanted was to just open
his hear out and show the enormous love he had for her. Oblivious to
Khushi's blabbering he was entirely engulfed by her thoughts as if he
was in no man's land.
He wasn't new to the touch of women. On
the contrary, he had many in his life before , who had tried to seduce
him in every possible manner but the feeling was never like this ever
before.
With Khushi around, her hands on him, he felt complete, to
be precise whole. She brought liveliness in her so dark life, gave him
the reason to smile and with her child like innocence and almost
unforgettable antics she brought out the child in him.
"Arnav ji", suddenly his thoughts came to rest on hearing Khushi, thus jerking him into present.
He sighed, observing her, absorbing every detail from the way her soft
hands caressed him to the way her eyes glowed and exhibited the warmth
that her heart overflowed with. Sharp and quick were the beatings of his heart as if it would explode
any instant when she slid her hand on to his broad masculine chest. Now
it was Arnav's turn to go red. Saying that he blushed would be an
understatement. He was burning. Experiencing the heat within, he thought
to himself : how easily she handles him without any pretense.
Love has strange ways: he almost worships her but will never admit it
and will remain nonchalant about it. She believes in him more than her
own self yet is compelled to stay quite.
Both are diving deep in the sea of love and yet are not aware of it.
Ironic it is!
