Love wins

The greatest love stories are not those in which love is spoken but those in which it is acted upon

The greatest love story of all times: Arnav and Khushi's story which is going through so many highs and lows yet is so stable.  The two diametrically opposite people who never failed a chance in uttering their dislike for each other, slowly got woven into an iron strong bond. Neither of them had acknowledged their love for each other but then what is the necessity for verbal communication when they understand each other perfectly.

When Arnav was in hostage and talks to Khushi over phone he senses Khushi's tears even though there wasn't a sound of her sob. He says I love you just like that, just out of the blue. If I say about me I never wanted to see this kind of a confession. There was no prelude to it. But now when I think about it, it appears that he chimed out those words because he thought that this is the last time he is talking to her and may be he won't get another chance to express himself. Khushi's was well speechless. Any girl would be. She was silent as if her voice left her soul. But her silence was understood by Arnav. Here is this man hard as rock who hated her initially, loved her then and again hated her when the misunderstanding crept in but could he really hate her! No, I don't think so, for the number of times he tortured her, his heart burnt in that agony and wept over the bruises he gave her.

The time comes when Khushi finds herself in the same shack where Arnav was kept. When they finally see each other, that gaze, the unadulterated love and the longing to hold each other's hands after a separation was so evident.  Arnav asks her how she found about him being in danger. I had wished so much that Khushi could finish her sentence. Again the irony strikes my mind. He should know how much he has hurt her, with what pathetic words he has bruised her heart and soul. And see what he gets in return: the  unconditional love of a girl who risked her life to protect his. Doesn't that girl deserves to be cherished by him throughout his life?

We all know Arnav has that possessive streak in him for Khushi and it emanated strong when his eyes witnessed her love being mistreated by the goon. He could have killed the guy had Khushi not stopped him.
The words, 'tum theek ho' brought out so many emotions. It was magical when he just took a small step and she came running into his arms. That moment when she lifted her toes to give him a hug wrapping her arms around his neck and he returned that hug by enveloping her was so special. Months of agony forgotten when their hearts melted and they just surrendered to that blissful love. The feeling of belonging was so evident on their faces. Despite the precarious situation they were in when they were just few seconds away from the goons, they couldn't resist that embrace, the embrace that was timeless and soul-mates never cared for anything or anyone that moment when the time stood still for them.

While on chase both of them try to save each other from the prick but getting hurt in the process. If this is not love then what is love?

Taking shelter in the hut and offering her those bright and shining fireflies because she is afraid of dark. Noticing and remembering the nuances of her fears, likes and dislikes shows how much he values her.

The trust that was missing in their relationship came with a bang in yesterday's episode. She didn't want him to leave and he said you count till 10. She nodded like a child showing how much faith she has in him. Her nod was innocent, just like a child. But it depicted her belief in him.

It is so true that Arnav was mesmerized watching Khushi's shadow. When he saw through that fine curtain. Her shadow doing its work on his mind, making him aroused and his subtle expressions changing from one shade to another, mirroring his inner state. The effect was so tantalizing and raw that he found himself  vulnerable. Imagine ASR being vulnerable. Now, this is something.

The question that Aranv asked Khushi how did she know if he was not in Scotland. His hesitation in asking and her stumbling upon words in replying was so beautifully done.

Yesterday's episode wasn't just about their romance. We witnessed so many facets of love:Understanding, reassurance, trust, caring, passion, attraction and respect. Now he respects her all the more. In the beginning he had himself torn her pearl dori but now a torn sleeve embarrasses him.

She appears before him in virginal white with a streak of passionate red. This passion has a name now..Love! The prelude to consuming their love commenced with feather light peck on the nape of the neck.
Him not giving up when she tries to escape his arms was so Arnav'ish, it was like getting our old fellow back. and then the ultimate scene putting her on the hay, him closing the distance between them and her slipping away. That was maddening!

That desire, longing and pining to have her right there was so evident on his face. The height was when he undid the dori. Gosh! I was trembling. What else should I say! The song was so appropriate, nicely depicting her state of mind. Confused, shy, happy, her mind heavy with his touches. Oh! That was so so exhilarating."

He was equally passionate on the Diwali night but when he came back to his senses he just withdrew, he felt guilty of his doing but yesterday that passion redefined their relationship. He didn't back off instead picked her up and she surrendered with a belief that this time she will not be left in the middle.

I wonder how the creatives of the show always end up with so appropriate songs.

 सैयां तू जो छु ले प्यार से, आराम से मर जाऊं
आजा चंदा बाहों में तुझ में हे गम हो जाऊं, तेरे नाम में खो जाऊं
The lyrics that showed her complete surrender...ये नयी नयी सुहागन हो गयी है तेरी जोगन

The joy of being so close to each other interrupted by the sound brought them back to the world but this time there was no trace of embarrassment or the guilt.

Realizing that they were surrounded by the goons  Arnav told her to stay back only to be countered fiercely. She made herself clear that she's not letting him go alone, so Arnav did what was appropriate. He didn't persuade her because he knew she couldn't be persuaded on this one. So he chose a harsh way. And mark my words he is going to repent on that. It was an ugly sight but proved effective. I liked the scene when he was burying her under the hay and then kissed her forehead.

He went with the goons leaving his Khushi safe and sound. Next day she wakes up with an aching head and frantically searches for Arnav. Remembers and realizes what had happened. She notices the pot and remembers their little joyful and pleasant moment of togetherness. He saved her and risked his life.

Love really does transcend all boundaries. When Arnav and Khushi were at the airport, Khushi tried hard to stop him but the dense clouds of misunderstanding shadowed him. Then happened that one call and Arnav emerged a bit out of that looming MU and yesterday the feeling of love between them was so strong that there was no room for any animosity, wrong ideas or misconceptions.

Episode update 01/04

I liked today that Khushi remembered why Arnav had to marry her in the jiffy. It's good that her brain is working on 'why' because I thought that she has completely forgotten that she needs to find out the reason behind it.

Another interesting thing was the dialogue between Garima and Khushi and more than that Arnav staying through the entire scene. Guilt trapping him as he heard Khushi describing him and his introspection as he remembered what he had done as opposed to what kushi said he had done. Couldn't have asked for more. The scene was simply awesome. Now at this point I would have want Arnav to do some thinking about Khushi's innocence. A girl who has been so selflessly looking after his family and him, how could she be a cheat. I guess he is actually thinking and trying to be soft on her but then his thinking gets terribly clashed by the terrace scene.

The only flaw in the scene being Garima's dialogue's! I don't know who's writing them? But he seriously does not know how to make the dialogues rustic. I mean at times she's speaking standard hindi and at the blink of an eye her articulation and pronunciation gets all rural. Poor direction! It spoils the fun.

Was Arnav dancing with Khushi that led to a rabba be? I don't know as there was an interruption in the link and I could not quite gather the scene. Looks like every single time he tries to love Khushi, he's haunted by the nasty memories. So, that was it!

Episode update 30/4

What shall I write about this episode.

ASR and his anger is back. While searching for his file he landed up on a wrapper and guess what? The kambakht wrapper had a name chit that said: Dear Khushi, with LOVE from SHYAM! And ASR's anger, his fears, his anguish, his every negative emotion seared high. Khushi was startled at his sudden change of behaviour towards her as he commanded her to not show her face to him.

Then came in the frame the sangeet ceremony of Khushi's friend Pritika at Gupta house. Well, the ladke wale were one bunch of idiots and nerdy people ( but the boy seemed nice) as they had come with just one aim to look down upon ladki wala's. Arnav, because his mood was put off (courtesy the gift paper) didn't show up to meet bridegroom's side. This led to more bickering by ladke wala's.

But when Arnav came to know that the boy works for his company( I'd that intution) he just ordered Aman to cancel his promotion.

The boy went totally berserk when he was told on phone that his promotion got cancelled. And when he saw Arnav in front of him, he was like: 'sir what are you doing here' Arnav ji then preached how to treat your wife and her family with respect.

Oh really Arnav ji, how about treating your wife with some respect!

Precap: Khushi overhears that it's Arnav who has saved her friend Pritika's marriage when she sees ASR talking to the boy.

27/4 Episode Update:

Loved how Khushi described her wedding today. She for one is a girl who so much wanted a grand wedding for her with all the traditions but didn't get one hence all the beautiful emotions we got to see and Arnav got to see the hidden tears of Khushi and how she masks her afflictions, sorrows and grief behind a smile. That shot was a lovely shot!

Another scene which I liked was when again he was trapping Khushi in his words. I just loved the excitement it created. Very much like the one that happened in the kissing scene during Akash payal marriage. "Agar maine repair kar diya toh kya tum voh karogi jo main kahoonga"! these were his words. Don't they sound the same. And here I was thinking that may be he'll ask for a kiss though the probability of asking for a kiss seemed zero but still I thought so. But no, he demanded for something as trivial as getting back to Shantivan!

And yes, before I end Arnav had to get compelety soaked by Khushi and man..nowadays he seems to be enjoying his wife's attempts to annoy him. He doen't get annoyed anymore but he smiles! Good good for us! May be Khushi will realize now that he is not as khadoos as she thinks of him. All her neighborhood seems to be in awe of him. He says sorry to Buaji too!

Remember how difficult it was for him to say sorry to anyone once upon a time. But now the time's changed and so has he. Here at Gupta house, he appears to be such a gentle and a humble soul. Hope Khushi sees that and realizes that her heart's dhak dhak is all because she loves him!

Episode update: Arnav bana mechanic

Hot as hotness could be!

Ok so, Arnav bana mechanic! Hmm not that bad! He did look hot while repairing the AC but he looked the best in the following scene.

When he in all his pride enlightened Khushi that she can't do everything but he can, because he is ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA and hold your breath people because he wiped off the grease mark with his thumb of Khushi's face and Khushi as usual was dumbstruck!

If required our man can also repair a toy engine. That's a good news actually because when ARHI will have their babies then Arnav's mechanic skill will save them a lot of money....:)) Not that they are short of money but still, he'll love repairing his chunnu munnu's toys!

So, another rabba vey and what a grand rabba ve it was!

Khushi on the ladder, face completely screened by her dupatta, can't see anything and there goes her knight in shining armour to save his lady love.

First, he fills his heart and soul gazing at the chaand chuppa dupatte mein and then he slowly removes the kambakht dupatta. After that, they get to hug each other as well and then comes a great fall.
Baharon phool barsao

Khushi lands on top of Arnav. Hailla, how I was waiting for this scene to happen!

Baharon phool barsao...sequence starts! Naughty kids shake the ladder and arnav and Khushi are showered with flowers. It was delectable because we got to see a smiling ASR. That was 'the moment'! ASR and his grin. He actually smiled, meaning he enjoyed that intimate moment with Khushi.

This one scene defines the entire episode for me today.

Episode update "Golguppas"

Want to scream out loud! Can't contain my happiness.

Feeding Golguppa

Tell me tell me people why did Arnav accept with alacrity to eat golgappa by Khushi? What was that?? He longs for her and pines for her and he no longer can contain that feeling to himself. It just emanates from him time to time. I just jumped out of joy to see his eagerness of eating Golguppa direct from Khushi.  If that's not love and what is?

And the way Khushi wiped his chin. Butterflies in my stomach. Today Arnav was all set to seduce Khushi. Did you all see how he moved towards her with such undisguised longing in his eyes. I knew, that nothing is gonna happen but still was excited. Excited by his expressions. Yes, Arnav Singh Raizada is all about wearing myriad of expressions. Whether, he is amused, annoyed, happy, angry, flustered, bewitched, he carries it off with a flair.

The moment came in today's episode when he had leaned towards Khushi and had held her gaze, his eyes were brimming with emotions but as usual he found himself uttering something inconsequential. Is he too afraid to speak out his feelings to her? May be yes! As he is not sure how she is gonna react to that and this all the more becomes significant when a person like ASR is the partaker. Why? Because he hates anybody denying or defying him.

Loved the fact that the neighborhood children are calling him 'jijaji'! How sweet is that! He is realizing his new relations at Gupta's.

So, Arnav is annoyed because Gupta house is flooded with people, all thanks to Khushi who invited her neighbor's guest to live with them. Since he's a man who prefers his solitude and recluse, he is in great turmoil. That's it!

A thing of beauty is a joy forever

His lopsided grin
Oh! He dreams too! Hai illa!!

Who will not fall for him!

See the glint in his eyes. Full of you-can't-beat-me attitude

His 'Oh  Really' expression

His subtle expressions are something that I always look forward to seeing every evening. When this man comes in the frame, you don't see anything else. It's him and his myriad of expressions. Need I say he is a treat to watch.

His Smirk
He chuckles. So rare he does! But when he does no one is immune to it
Such a teaser he is! Undisguised longing

Episode analysis

Wow! what a heartwarming episode! Enjoyed it because it was a sensible one as compared to yesterday's episode which in my opinion did not meet the standard of  IPKKND.

Arnav is doing wonders at Gupta's as in, his character has really taken a u-turn. He is finally changing and has realized what Khushi's parents have done for him.

I felt exhilarated to watch it. ASR has a heart of gold and today we got a glimpse of it.

A real rabba ve was a boon to my sore eyes. Arnav's loving gaze at Khushi while she was hogging the golguppas left me with all smiles.

Yes, he bought golguppas for her to make up with her and that, so very well proves how caring he is towards Khushi.

Now I too feel like eating thoda teekha and thoda meetha golguppa...:))

After ages I saw that same innocence and childishness in Khushi when she was contemplating whether to eat or not to eat the golguppas brought by Arnav.

All in all a fab episode. Happy!

Arnav feeling lonely!

This was written when Arnav was subjected to Khushi's silent treatment. So, I developed the story from there and sent Khushi to her parent's place.

Now Arnav's eyes itched to see Khushi. Almost14 hours had passed by without seeing her. He walked in and around the room anticipating Khushi's appearance magically from some hidden corner of the room but soon the optimism vanished when Anjali entered the room and inquired: "Chotey what are you looking for"?

"Nothing di, just waiting for Khushi. Where is she"? Asked Arnav in the hope that she might be downstairs.

"Oh! Didn't she inform you that she will be going to see her babuji"? Came the heart crashing answer having a mix of doubt that how come Khushi did not tell Chotey about this!

Fully aware of his sister's meaningless botheration Arnav immediately took hold of the situation and said: "yeah, now i remember. She did tell me the other day. I just forgot di".

Anjali satisfied by the response and bidding him goodnight made her way to her room, leaving behind sighing Arnav.

Saying goodnight to his di, Arnav retreated back into the grim solitude of his room and took out a book, flipped of few pages but couldn't concentrate.

"What the"! sighed he in exasperation.

"To see babuji"! exclaimed Arnav, who thought it was quite unnecessary on part of Khushi to leave Raizada house all of a sudden and that too without feeling the need to inform him. She sure will have to pay for her audacity now.

After a while, when her thoughts did not seem to leave him, he took refuge in the eternal bliss of his laptop but today was his one unlucky day when his pet too refused to entertain him.

Restlessness engulfed him, he had no clue what was irking him so badly; Why he was not at peace, may be her absence. Yes! that was it, now that he is so used to her being all around himself, his house, his room, his life, his everything that her absence was working like glass splinters across his heart. When she is not there, it was impossible for him to deal with the void, with the silence in his room.

But then he tried to blow away the bullshit his mind was feeding upon. The feeling is not new to him. Thought him. Loneliness and Arnav Singh Raizada are like synonyms so as to speak. He does not depend on some Khushi to be at peace. He prefers this silence, this golden privacy which he got all of a sudden without even him asking for it.

He should be thankful to her.

But then why this twitch in the heart and this unexplained uneasiness as if something is quite out of place!

Sitting on his recliner and closing his eyes, he mused about Khushi. Oh! so now she has invaded his mind too! thought he, as he effortlessly remembered her innocent blabbers that kept her otherwise silent room so alive. His thoughts wandered around the day when they did a close, intimate dance few days back. How well she fits against him. His fingers twitched involuntarily as he dreamed about Khushi holding her by her waist. Her so angel like face and doe eyes made his heart go beyond control.

Tired of imagining about her he got up from his recliner and moved towards the bed like a robot. Making himself comfortable on Khushi's side of bed, he sniffed her pillow.
Ah! the smell of lavender. Wanting to just immerse himself in the fragrance he lay on the bed as for now that fragrance was the sole medium that reminded him of her. It was something that was so innate to Khushi.

Unknowingly, he blurted out: Dearest how could you?
Do you know what I'm going through! Next time you contemplate such a thing, take me with you because it is abundantly clear that I cannot live without you. Not in this world, not in the next.

Just the feeling, that you are not near makes all priorities clear. Oh! what the hell I'm going through. To be forced to put on a mask and pretend normalcy, when my deepest instincts were to scream loudly how I love you and how want to spend the rest of my life with you.

Quite unable to resist his raw emotions, he got up swiftly, fumbled for his car keys and drove to a place which was not new to him.

It was 10 in the night and Khushi after talking to his Babuji, Buaji and Amma and giving them plenty of explanations as to why she appeared suddenly at Gupta house prepared to retire to bed.

But sleep was the the last thing she had on her mind. Because now a days her heart and her mind behaved ridiculously bad with her and just refused to listen to her.She herself was quite surprised that despite all her efforts to brush aside his thoughts all she did was to think about him. Though she did not accept it, but actually she was missing his jeering, his mockery and his so infamous smirk, his touch, his cologne whenever he minimized the distance between them and brought his face dangerously near her nose that she wished, their lips touched.

Coming back to her rational world as if she were in a trance exclaimed : "No, she will not succumb to his thoughts and will not show him her face". It was more like a resolution to her.

How she loved him! But were he to understand her love, her feelings, her emotions for him?

His actions though at some instances left her perplexed. Time and again she has felt how he tries to amend his wrong doings towards her.

But until when? Until when she will have to be his scapegoat?

Eventually, Khushi cast aside his thoughts and took solace in the comfort of her bed, the same bed once she had shared with her laat governor on the new year's eve.

He was so different then, though he never confessed his love for her but his gestures towards her were always brimming with love and now how changed his demeanor is.

Love hurts and it hurts real bad. Thought Khushi. It hurts when a person you love enters your so secured heart and messes with it. Why his doings affect her so much? Because she loves him. Is this some kind of a self proclamation! She seemed to be amused at her own rambling.Where there is love, there is pain. She said in a very philosophical tone. Khushi being no Jane Austen or Shakespeare but at the moment she was no less than a writer as she was experiencing the overwhelming feeling of being in love.

But will her love ever be reciprocated?? That was a million dollar question!

Being in love with Arnav Singh Raizada has its own hazards and Khushi was beginning to feel the impact of it.

It was then when she was lost in her own world, she heard a knock on the door.
Who could that be at this hour? Certainly, this was not the time for friends or neighbours to drop by. Visibly annoyed by this interruption, she heard her Buaji's voice.

"Arnav Babua! You"?? Screamed Buaji in a state of shock and surprise.

Hearing her Buaji's voice, Khushi got up with a jerk and muttered: "UNBELIEVABLE"!

"What is he doing here at this time"?

"Yes Buaji! It's me". Said Aranv

"I just dropped by to see Babuji. How is he now"? And saying this, he barged in without waiting for Buaji's reaction. He moved towards Babuji's room all the while his eyes frantically searching for Khushi.

Buaji was no kid. She could read Arnav's mind quite well and understood the motive behind his sudden appearance on the pretext of seeing Babuji. A mischievous smile played on her lips as she recalled her own days just after marriage.

So, she said, Arnav babua, actually Shahsi bitua is asleep and is doing good.

Arnav felt a bit disappointed by the answer as now his purpose of staying at Gupta residence was just blown off. He felt utterly hopeless as he couldn't open his mouth to ask about Khushi. Such was his love! Love that begun by deceiving himself and then others.

Buaji understood Arnav's plight and asked: "Why don't you stay here as already it is so late and that this is your house as well".

Arnav's heart pounded on hearing this, he couldn't hide the pleasure of getting the invitation.

Without waiting for his answer, Buaji directed Arnav to Khushi's room.

Khushi stood in her room facing her back towards Arnav quite firm about not showing him her face. Arnav o the other hand for the first time had a major anxiety attack. He was speechless. He did not have the words to explain his presence in the Gupta's house at such a bizarre hour.

But arrogant he was and again it was his arrogance that spoke.

"Khushi, how dare you! Could you not inform me of your leaving Shanti van"?

"Oh! so you came all the way to question me"? Mocked Khushi. She did not want to leave any opportunity of teasing Arnav.
"And I did not leave your house for good. Just came to see my Babuji. Am I denied of doing even that? And moreover you should be glad as I saved you from seeing my face"!

Having said that Khushi turned and faced Arnav, who was standing there quite displeased with the way things were turning out. He felt helpless as the situation this time was not in his control.

"Oh! So you care so much for my words. I didn't know that Khushi Kumari Gupta"!

He moved forwrads and asked in a haughty tone: "Where am i supposed to sleep in this room"?

Fully aware of the fact that there is just one bed in that little room and no other provision for a separate sleeping arrangement, he still had thrust the question towards Khushi, totally enjoying the situation.

But Khushi was no game to this so uncalled situation and said immediately, "well Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, it looks like we'll have to share the bed and place pillows between us. You take the left side and I the right side".

Arnav smirked upon his wife's intelligence. He was satisfied that he was saved from the torture of being alone and lonely in his grand luxurious room of Raizada house.
He was here within a safe distance with his Khushi.

As he hit the bed, he inhaled again the fragrance of Lavender but this time there was no turmoil, no restlessness nothing, but a bliss, a sense of nearness, being near his love.

Ever wonder about the irony of the situation. It was Khushi who was afraid of being alone or being lonely but now it is our mighty ASR who dreads being lonely!

This is love where you just end up giving a part of yourself to your soul mate and get her insecurities in return.
If you have love, you don't need to have anything else. This is so clear in this IPKKND saga.

Arnav's thoughts (from his diary)

This passage describes mostly ASR's feelings when for the first time Khushi took the lead and showed her affection towards him.
That moment was badly affecting my mind until I penned it down. I wrote it long back, putting on the blog now.

It seemed like eternity to him, something that never happened before. The moment she put her hands round his fair face, he was completely blown off. Vulnerable, yes, that was what he became.

His eyes tried to fight back the tears but in vain as one tiny drop of tear rolled down his cheek to be wiped out by her tenderly.

At that very instant, all he wanted was to just open his hear out and show the enormous love he had for her. Oblivious to Khushi's blabbering he was entirely engulfed by her thoughts as if he was in no man's land.

He wasn't new to the touch of women. On the contrary, he had many in his life before , who had tried to seduce him in every possible manner but the feeling was never like this ever before.
With Khushi around, her hands on him, he felt complete, to be precise whole. She brought liveliness in her so dark life, gave him the reason to smile and with her child like innocence and almost unforgettable antics she brought out the child in him.

"Arnav ji", suddenly his thoughts came to rest on hearing Khushi, thus jerking him into present.

He sighed, observing her, absorbing every detail from the way her soft hands caressed him to the way her eyes glowed and exhibited the warmth that her heart overflowed with. Sharp and quick were the beatings of his heart as if it would explode any instant when she slid her hand on to his broad masculine chest. Now it was Arnav's turn to go red. Saying that he blushed would be an understatement. He was burning.  Experiencing the heat within, he thought to himself : how easily she handles him without any pretense.

Love has strange ways: he almost worships her but will never admit it and will remain nonchalant about it. She believes in him more than her own self yet is compelled to stay quite.

Both are diving deep in the sea of love and yet are not aware of it.
Ironic it is!

His lifeline

Okay, so I came up with this piece when Arnav finds Khushi all upon himself at Gupta's.

In the silence of the dawn, the two souls lay on the bed twined with each other. Gupta house was still asleep. Arnav stirred in his half sleep wanting to turn to other side but felt the pressure of something that prevented him to move. He batted his eyelids and lazily opened his eyes to view Khushi sprawled by his side occupying the major portion of the bed. One of her legs exquisitely adorned his abdomen and her hand enveloped his chest.

He found a part of himself still in dreamland upon waking. It was hard for him to be fully in the present for he had always wanted in his dreams to wake up like this. Waking up to find her by his side! But the present prevailing circumstances didn't allow him to make his emotions obvious to Khushi no matter how much he loved her. His heart twitched with pain for the sheer fact that he could not express his love to Khushi but the wistfulness in his eyes was revealing his inner desire for her.

He moved slightly so as not to disturb her to face her and was completely bewitched by the figure that lay in his vicinity. He called her "sleeping beauty" and that she was! She lazed there in one of her creamy, thin salwar kurta whose neck went a little low thus giving an ample view of her soft smooth peach skin. Her face fresh like a morning dew without any traces of make up and her luscious lips appearing even more pink. Few strands of her hair screened her forehead partly and were touching the tip of her nose. His hands itched to remove those impertinent strands and tuck them behind her ear. He gently kissed her hand that lay on his chest.

She stirred a little and came even more close, snuggled beside him, enjoying the warmth that emanated from him. He brought his face in close proximity to her neck and couldn't help but sniff her milky peach skin. Even at this hour she smelled wonderful. Good heavens! he exclaimed and slightly brushed her long neck with his lips. His idea was to just inhale a bit of Khushi's fragrance but the feeling was so potent that he couldn't resist but graze and explore that marvelous long, slender neck.

Khushi felt a tingling sensation and being a highly ticklish girl she at once opened her eyes. It took her sometime to gather her position and the situation around. Seeing herself in such a mortifying condition, she tried to separate herself from him but Arnav's face was dug deep in the curve of her neck. She felt his warm breath and found herself utterly weak. Mustering up all her courage and strength, she struggled to move away from his hold but the man was not quite inclined to let go off this opportunity. He had been dreaming of this moment since eternity and had imagined Khushi and him doing hanky-panky infinite times.

Evidently he couldn't do it for real but today at that very moment he just didn't care, didn't care about Shyam and Khushi hugging each other, didn't care about his 'di' and didn't care about his pride! The pride that made ASR the ASR. To hell with every damn thing in the world. Khushi is mine screamed his heart and the voice echoed in his mind. Nothing else matters when in love. He is hers and she his! He dare not imagine his life without her for she is one thing that keeps him going, keeps him smiling coz when she's around even the darkest of nights turn into full moon nights! And he had quite learnt his lesson well when Khushi had gone to her parents place leaving him all stranded, restless and flustered.
The silence of his room which had been so relieving once now haunted him. No!!! he cried to himself as if fighting his own inner demons, he can't leave Khushi. Arnav repeated it like a mantra as if reminding himself what if she leaves!

There was no denying the fact that Khushi Kumari Gupta became his lifeline now. If this is love then be it. Thought he. Arnav Singh Raizada is in love and it was no less than a news to himself. It has been ages since he had this beautiful emotion stirring in him after the death of his mother. Of course he loved his 'di' but loving di and loving Khushi are as different as black is from white. The void that had been there in his heart now was brimming with love. He felt ecstatic and now was ready to throw himself in the deep beautiful eyes of his beloved. Everything appeared to be surreal as if it's a dream, that he'll blink his eyes and the dream will be shattered.

Khushi, in the struggle of getting away from Arnav, came even close. Arnav's hands tightened around hers. Her mind was playing a dual game with her. Apart of it said, to just quit but her heart wanted this to never end. She ached for this excitement to remain till the times end. It's true that she had never thought about him doing things to her but this also remains true that every time when she felt him around her heart slammed even harder, went berserk and the heat that she feels from within when he touches her. Her emotions, her feelings so indescribable that it was difficult to comprehend. But now, as she lies there in the cocoon of his warmth everything feels so right. All her premonitions seemed to vanish. It was so exhilarating that her heart did not want to end it.

Incoherent words escaped her mouth. "Please....wh..what are you doing Arnavji?"

Her body was burning in sweet pain and pleasure at the same time.

Arnav on hearing his name lost his control and whispered while nibbling at her soft ear lobe.

"Nothing Khushi! I'm doing what I should have done long before".
"Aren't you happy"? He said in between, landing feather kisses behind her ear and the nape of her neck.

Writhing in pleasure by Arnav's side, she swallowed a lump of saliva and nothing but a moan came out. Arnav was completely besotted by her but at the same time was doing it slowly just to make it a pleasurable experience for her.
Little did he know that Khushi's body and soul were soaring high with unfathomable sensation.

Her body was subjected to this sweet torment for the first time and boy what a torment it was!
Arnav dropped his face a little lower and his mouth traveled a little further down where he met the two mounds. Electrifying it was! His both hands entwined with hers so that she could do nothing but slither beneath him while his mouth was doing wonders to her.

Since she was wearing a salwar kurta, Arnav's mouth evidently could not go beyond a point as he had no idea how to take off that bloody dress.

Fumbling with her tunic, desperately trying to remove it but failing miserably, he groaned: Khushi, why the hell do you have to wear such difficult dresses, why can't you wear something simple that comes off in a flip.

All this talk had hypnotized Khushi and she as if in a trance guided Arnav's hands towards the hooks of her tunic all the while gawking at him.

Arnav was enthralled by her divine image. Her eyes wide open, her lips parted and her eyebrows arched shadowed by a bunch of insolent hair.
Oh! Sweet heavens! He would sacrifice every thing to keep her by his side. She appeared intoxicating!

The moment Arnav's hand landed on the hook, in one go he detached it from the loop and her Kurta suddenly appeared to be hanging off her shoulders. He just couldn't take his eyes off of her. Her milky white bare shoulders looked so inviting. His hands reached the desired place and moved up and down at it's own pace. There was absolutely no hurry, though his eyes were red burning with intense passion and pain.

Meanwhile, Khushi's hands had been exploring Arnav's feisty body. Her hands caged his head and her fingers slipped in his hair, thus pulling him towards her. It didn't escape Arnav's attention and only gave wind to his primal instincts and he at once sealed her lips with his.

Khushi being a naive didn't know how to respond. She was completely new to this but nevertheless enjoying it. By now he was sprawled over her. Her eyes were closed and he just withdrew his mouth to see the effect. He felt victorious when Khushi suddenly opened her eyes in disappointment to see what led Arnav to stop and mumbled "Arnavji"...

"No Khushi, say Arnav, just Arnav".
She smiled innocently and uttered "Arnav."
"Say once more dear".
"Arnav", said she a little louder than the first time.

Content with the outcome, he hungrily grabbed her mouth and guided his tongue inside the warm hollow.
Their tongues collided, sang and danced. It was one feisty combination of Arnav's potence and Khushi's innocence.

Raw thoughts (From Arnav's Diary)

हम लबों सॆ कह न पाये
उन से हाल-ऎ-दिल कभी
औऱ वो समझे नही य़े
खामोशी क्य़ा चीज है

Above lines, aptly describes the feelings of Arnav Singh Raizada. Being an emotionally handicap person, he is unable to express his sentiments and feelings fluidly to Khushi and she never comprehends what lies behind his silence!

This female has it all. The thought struck him seeing Khushi ready to take part in their night affair. He had been with innumerable women who had tried to seduce him in every possible manner but the feeling was never like this before.

She never needed any supplements to attract him or to seduce him. It came so natural to her like leaves come to trees. With Khushi around he felt complete and not to mention the liveliness she brought in his so dark life.

Sometimes, he would loosen his tie and sit back on his plush office chair and his thoughts would center around Khushi.

Marrying her was one thing that comforted him. No, it was not for anyone's sake, it was purely out of jealousy that he married her. How could he ever see her in somebody else's arms! He couldn't let that happen. But he had to build that facade to hate her for he can't let his pride go off so easily.

There were times when his pride came crashing down and he stooped at her feet, begging her literally to love him. Only if she could comprehend his emotions , his feelings.

It's true that he is emotionally handicap and can't express his emotions and feelings well but then Khushi should have come forward to his rescue.

Being with her in his house, his room, sharing his intimate things always brought a kind of joy!

There was no remorse, repentance yes! And like, every dark cloud has a silver lining, he too had a hope that things would go right and she will understand him.

He wanted to worship her, to give her the pleasures which she had never imagined, to be her slave. He was hers, all hers, for today, tomorrow and always!

Her presence always electrified him as if his thought process stopped, the only thing then left was her. Everything else became oblivious.

In the mornings when she would come out of her shower with wet hair, how his fingers itched to grab her, her wet hair would strike his face and he would inhale the scent.

What was it? Jasmine or Lily.

Oh, whatever!

It was enough to shoot up his testosterone.

His slightest touch on her neck and little further down would make her moan and he would feel excited at her femininity.

Yes, he felt victorious as if he had conquered some war. He made her yearn for him and it always brought a sense of contentment.

He remembered the night fondly when it happened for the first time. She was wearing a red chiffon sari with a low neck choli that exposed more of her midriff than anyone was normally privileged to see. He had to admit that he was completely bowled over by her beauty. She looked divine!

It was a family function. She came to the room to get hold of something after having held his heart. Seeing her in that attire had done the desired work on him. He went behind her and pulled the dori. It was so unexpected for her that she stood there startled.

How could a girl be so innocent! Does she not know her effect on him?

She then turned around to see him give her the most heartwarming look. The look that told he wanted to just keep looking at her till the times end.

He tried to held her back but she shoved him off. He just picked her up, carried on his shoulders and gently lay her on the bed. It was like the time had stopped entirely for the two of them. His hands moved aside the strands of her hair and her eyes closed at his gentle touch. Something that she had wanted for so long, something that she craved for so long. He slowly slid right after her. It was coming so naturally that neither of them felt this as an act of adultery.

Then he closed the distance between the two, feeling her bare waist, heating her from within and then those beautiful lips which he loved so much ran over hers. Initially she remained quite not really wanting to give off this pleasure.

But when she came to her senses, suddenly she sat upright jerked by the raw touch. She tried with all her might to get away from him but the tight grip of his hands didn't allow her to move even an inch away.

Thoroughly exasperated by her efforts of withdrawal, he pulled himself back but was startled to see her pulling him back.

She is so unpredictable!

Her lips parted on her own as her face flushed, something that she felt only around him. For a moment she wanted to lose herself, to free herself of all the tyrannies, to just be with him and to have him.

She grazed his lips, letting herself explore his mouth, letting his hands to feel her skin, letting him to touch her wherever he wanted, letting her hands to pull his hairs and letting herself have the utmost pleasure.

He kissed her again, this time it trailed further down her neck and then on to her chest.

He went mad with desire, the desire to explore her, to feel her, to touch her and to be touched by him. Finding her completely aroused, he undressed her and she helped him with his clothes,

How he loved when she moaned his name underneath him and he gently pushed himself into her. Could he ever forget that marvelous moment when then they cried out each others name in pain and in pleasure!

There they lay by each others side in their natural best completely relaxed, smiling, and euphoric. Yes, it was an euphoria that struck the two of them. They were destined to be soul-mates and Arnav fondly remembered how they materialized their platonic relationship. Yes...that was the night!

Holi

Having shared that beautiful moment together which brought them so close, Khushi's happiness increased manifold thinking about holi. This was one festival which she has been looking  forward to.

She knew quite well that her man didn't think very high of this colorful festival. But Khushi being Khushi was adamant on playing holi with Arnav. But how? thought she..putting all her neurons on work.

Festivities had begun at RH and Khushi and her family was invited to be apart of it.

The moment she stepped inside the RH, her eyes searched for the only one.

Where is he hiding? She muttered.

Must be in his den with his first love, his 'laptop'. Oh, how I hate his pet!

What are you blabbering Shanka devi? Whispered Buaji.

She came across Nani and Anjali, who instantly asked Khushi to join them.

HP had prepared 'Badam Milk' and seeing everybody busy with something or the other, Naniji asked Khushi to take it to Chotey's room. Khushi was more than ready to oblige Naniji. She smiled in anticipation of meeting his 'laat governor' and took the glass from HP.

She knocked the door that was ajar, and entered with hesitation. He was nowhere to be seen.

Where the hell is he? She murmured.

And suddenly, what she saw was a sight to behold. Arnav emerged from his bathroom stood in all his glory draped in a towel. Few strands of wet hair fell upon his broad forehead teasing Khushi. Drops of water lying here and there on his perfectly toned muscular body. Khushi gaped and tried to look elsewhere but couldn't.

How could she possibly look elsewhere when the man of her dreams stood right in front, alluring her.

Fully aware of the effects he had on Khushi, he said teasingly, what are you staring at Khushi? Thus bringing a pause to her not so decent thoughts.

She was taken completely off guard. It was like, Arnav had screened her mind, her thoughts. She, in the hope of turning away only came nearer to him.

He moved forwards, she stood still, her feet glued to the floor.

Why are you trembling? Smirked Arnav.

Trembling me..no..I'm not. Incoherent words erupted from Khushi's mouth.

Oh yeah! came his husky voice.

So Khushi, what brought you here? asked Arnav in a bit suggestive manner.

I got you some Almond milk. Replied Khushi, still not looking at him.

She put it aside on the brown Mahagony tiroir and was about to leave when she felt a pair of hands on her shoulders. She sprang as if a high voltage current passed through her body.

She turned slowly and was now facing Arnav, her eyes downcast, lips shivering and cheeks tinged rose.

Arnav on seeing this, couldn't control his desire for her. His eyebrows arched, body grew tense and was completely bewitched by this epitome of beauty. Unable to cease his emotions, he drew her close, cupped her face and his lips moved over hers.

Khushi you've no idea how much I love you! Whispered he.

She was mesmerized as if in a trance but not for long, as Arnav regained his senses and demanded Khushi thus pulling her off of her dazed state.

Aren't you going to ask me out to play holi with you?

Khushi was startled at his proposition. Cat got her tongue.

But...but I thought you disliked holi. She said consciously.

There are many things which I used to dislike but now they are close to my heart...Chuckled Arnav.

Looking at her seemingly confused state Arnav asked her to go down and wait for him. Then in a very challenging tone he told her that he will color her in front of everyone.

His boldness amazed her, but she was not the types to back off and said defiantly...no, not in front of everyone! Arnav threw one of his wicked smiles at completely flustered Khushi. He was enjoying her baffled state.

Khushi too wanted to play holi with him but not at this prospect. The consequences frightened her. She did not want the people of RH to know about their little private affair.
She went down to join others and later was joined by Arnav. Khushi felt his eyes on her from time to time.

When, despite herself, she did, she noticed him innocently immersed in giving directions to servants. She could not resist glancing at him. Suddenly, he looked at her and the tables were turned. Before she could look elsewhere, he said: there's nothing wrong in gazing your love, my love.

She was stunned by his audacity and attitude. How clear are his thoughts about her! She wondered. That was Arnav Singh Raizada to her.

HP brought a tray of varied colors at Arnav's disposition. Meanwhile Anjali and Naniji called Khushi outside.

A joyful celebration was at its peak when she saw a figure coming towards her with red gulal in his hands. To her surprise and to that of Anjali, who was standing next to her she gave a gasp and a shiver. She felt the blood rush to her cheeks. Arnav now in Khushi's close proximity waved his hand smeared with gulal onto Anjali's cheeks. Happy holi Di! Said Arnav.

Khushi could not fathom the situation, but took a sigh of relief.

Khushi's red cheeks were not hidden from Arnav and he wanted to be a complete teaser at the moment.

Anjali induced Khushi to put a bit of color on Arnav's sparkling white Kurta. Khushi with trembling hands did so only to be completely smudged by Arnav. Flashing a wicked smile he rubbed red gulal on her already blushed cheeks. Teasing Khushi, he said: Di, Khushi is already red, look at her cheeks as if she'd already played holi with someone.

Khushi in all her femininity, rejoiced her love with Arnav and did not know when the festival of colors turned into the festival of love for her.

A colossal moment

This particular story which is titled as,  'A colossal moment' was born out of frustration of not witnessing Arnav proposing Khushi. Thus I, in my thoughts, sent Arnav on his knees before Khushi.

Khushi sat quietly by the poolside trying to breathe in the situation. All of a sudden her life took a u-turn. She could not help but analyze the line of events that had happened few moments before. It's been a while now that she had known the man. Arnav Singh Raizada. The name speaks volume. The name that sent shivers down her spine. This name has an aura, a magic, terror for others and love for her. ASR, the undefeated, the conqueror, few moments before was kneeling down and proposing her. Was that for real? She asked herself.

The same ASR who never believed in love, in emotions because his heart was shattered and wounded, now has crossed the heights of craziness. His love for her knew no bounds. Khushi recollected all the past moments when he was actually jealous seeing her with other men.

She smiled contemplating her present situation. The best moment she thought was when he spotted her under the tree at poolside, took her hands, knelt down and spoke the unthinkable...those three magical words. She knew,  it must have taken a lot of courage to utter those words but then he was not a coward, not in the least weak.

She had her emotions oscillating like a pendulum. Arnav Singh Raizada who had made his hobby to hate her, dislike her, was on his knees few minutes back. When did that transformation happen? She did not care for the answer as for her, her laat governor was the only man with whom she can imagine spending rest of her life. He was hers now and that being the sole thing that mattered, everything else faded.

She had to get up soon and blabber all this to her dear jiji. How happy she would be to hear this! Now we will never have to be separated even after marriage, thought she. Devi maiyaa is great! Her inner self spoke.

The moment she stepped out of the poolside area, a shadow towered her. She clumsily stepped back and realized it was none other than her laat governor. She saw him gazing at her with ardent love. Khushi just melted like a chocolate. His one gaze was enough to drive her crazy. He touched her, she shivered. He liked that! His rough hands ran over her soft and tender arms. He moved forward, now he was close, dangerously close, gripping her tight he placed a peck on her neck. She moaned with pleasure. He distanced himself from her to see her. See what you have done to me..said he. I was living in peace and you came like a gush of wind, took away my peace and gave me this obsession. Obsession to love you with passion!

She didn't know what to say, she was just lost in his deep chocolate eyes. His eyes always did wonders..thought she. How he is capable of making love with his eyes! And his smirk make her go weak down there. Not quite at peace with the reactions happening inside her biological body, she wanted to just run and hide somewhere. She tried to open her mouth only to be claimed by his. She tried to pull her away but in vain, she was way too petite for this muscular man. Two muscled arms encapsulated her. Her desire and will to lose everything to him was soaring high. They were breathing hard, their hormones raging up. And it was then that with a lot of will power he detached himself away from her. May be Arnav Singh Raizada still had his sanity safe somewhere. He loved Khushi, he worshiped her, believed in her purity and he promised himself to save the best for the last.
