Love wins

The greatest love stories are not those in which love is spoken but those in which it is acted upon

The greatest love story of all times: Arnav and Khushi's story which is going through so many highs and lows yet is so stable.  The two diametrically opposite people who never failed a chance in uttering their dislike for each other, slowly got woven into an iron strong bond. Neither of them had acknowledged their love for each other but then what is the necessity for verbal communication when they understand each other perfectly.

When Arnav was in hostage and talks to Khushi over phone he senses Khushi's tears even though there wasn't a sound of her sob. He says I love you just like that, just out of the blue. If I say about me I never wanted to see this kind of a confession. There was no prelude to it. But now when I think about it, it appears that he chimed out those words because he thought that this is the last time he is talking to her and may be he won't get another chance to express himself. Khushi's was well speechless. Any girl would be. She was silent as if her voice left her soul. But her silence was understood by Arnav. Here is this man hard as rock who hated her initially, loved her then and again hated her when the misunderstanding crept in but could he really hate her! No, I don't think so, for the number of times he tortured her, his heart burnt in that agony and wept over the bruises he gave her.

The time comes when Khushi finds herself in the same shack where Arnav was kept. When they finally see each other, that gaze, the unadulterated love and the longing to hold each other's hands after a separation was so evident.  Arnav asks her how she found about him being in danger. I had wished so much that Khushi could finish her sentence. Again the irony strikes my mind. He should know how much he has hurt her, with what pathetic words he has bruised her heart and soul. And see what he gets in return: the  unconditional love of a girl who risked her life to protect his. Doesn't that girl deserves to be cherished by him throughout his life?

We all know Arnav has that possessive streak in him for Khushi and it emanated strong when his eyes witnessed her love being mistreated by the goon. He could have killed the guy had Khushi not stopped him.
The words, 'tum theek ho' brought out so many emotions. It was magical when he just took a small step and she came running into his arms. That moment when she lifted her toes to give him a hug wrapping her arms around his neck and he returned that hug by enveloping her was so special. Months of agony forgotten when their hearts melted and they just surrendered to that blissful love. The feeling of belonging was so evident on their faces. Despite the precarious situation they were in when they were just few seconds away from the goons, they couldn't resist that embrace, the embrace that was timeless and soul-mates never cared for anything or anyone that moment when the time stood still for them.

While on chase both of them try to save each other from the prick but getting hurt in the process. If this is not love then what is love?

Taking shelter in the hut and offering her those bright and shining fireflies because she is afraid of dark. Noticing and remembering the nuances of her fears, likes and dislikes shows how much he values her.

The trust that was missing in their relationship came with a bang in yesterday's episode. She didn't want him to leave and he said you count till 10. She nodded like a child showing how much faith she has in him. Her nod was innocent, just like a child. But it depicted her belief in him.

It is so true that Arnav was mesmerized watching Khushi's shadow. When he saw through that fine curtain. Her shadow doing its work on his mind, making him aroused and his subtle expressions changing from one shade to another, mirroring his inner state. The effect was so tantalizing and raw that he found himself  vulnerable. Imagine ASR being vulnerable. Now, this is something.

The question that Aranv asked Khushi how did she know if he was not in Scotland. His hesitation in asking and her stumbling upon words in replying was so beautifully done.

Yesterday's episode wasn't just about their romance. We witnessed so many facets of love:Understanding, reassurance, trust, caring, passion, attraction and respect. Now he respects her all the more. In the beginning he had himself torn her pearl dori but now a torn sleeve embarrasses him.

She appears before him in virginal white with a streak of passionate red. This passion has a name now..Love! The prelude to consuming their love commenced with feather light peck on the nape of the neck.
Him not giving up when she tries to escape his arms was so Arnav'ish, it was like getting our old fellow back. and then the ultimate scene putting her on the hay, him closing the distance between them and her slipping away. That was maddening!

That desire, longing and pining to have her right there was so evident on his face. The height was when he undid the dori. Gosh! I was trembling. What else should I say! The song was so appropriate, nicely depicting her state of mind. Confused, shy, happy, her mind heavy with his touches. Oh! That was so so exhilarating."

He was equally passionate on the Diwali night but when he came back to his senses he just withdrew, he felt guilty of his doing but yesterday that passion redefined their relationship. He didn't back off instead picked her up and she surrendered with a belief that this time she will not be left in the middle.

I wonder how the creatives of the show always end up with so appropriate songs.

 सैयां तू जो छु ले प्यार से, आराम से मर जाऊं
आजा चंदा बाहों में तुझ में हे गम हो जाऊं, तेरे नाम में खो जाऊं
The lyrics that showed her complete surrender...ये नयी नयी सुहागन हो गयी है तेरी जोगन

The joy of being so close to each other interrupted by the sound brought them back to the world but this time there was no trace of embarrassment or the guilt.

Realizing that they were surrounded by the goons  Arnav told her to stay back only to be countered fiercely. She made herself clear that she's not letting him go alone, so Arnav did what was appropriate. He didn't persuade her because he knew she couldn't be persuaded on this one. So he chose a harsh way. And mark my words he is going to repent on that. It was an ugly sight but proved effective. I liked the scene when he was burying her under the hay and then kissed her forehead.

He went with the goons leaving his Khushi safe and sound. Next day she wakes up with an aching head and frantically searches for Arnav. Remembers and realizes what had happened. She notices the pot and remembers their little joyful and pleasant moment of togetherness. He saved her and risked his life.

Love really does transcend all boundaries. When Arnav and Khushi were at the airport, Khushi tried hard to stop him but the dense clouds of misunderstanding shadowed him. Then happened that one call and Arnav emerged a bit out of that looming MU and yesterday the feeling of love between them was so strong that there was no room for any animosity, wrong ideas or misconceptions.

Episode update 01/04

I liked today that Khushi remembered why Arnav had to marry her in the jiffy. It's good that her brain is working on 'why' because I thought that she has completely forgotten that she needs to find out the reason behind it.

Another interesting thing was the dialogue between Garima and Khushi and more than that Arnav staying through the entire scene. Guilt trapping him as he heard Khushi describing him and his introspection as he remembered what he had done as opposed to what kushi said he had done. Couldn't have asked for more. The scene was simply awesome. Now at this point I would have want Arnav to do some thinking about Khushi's innocence. A girl who has been so selflessly looking after his family and him, how could she be a cheat. I guess he is actually thinking and trying to be soft on her but then his thinking gets terribly clashed by the terrace scene.

The only flaw in the scene being Garima's dialogue's! I don't know who's writing them? But he seriously does not know how to make the dialogues rustic. I mean at times she's speaking standard hindi and at the blink of an eye her articulation and pronunciation gets all rural. Poor direction! It spoils the fun.

Was Arnav dancing with Khushi that led to a rabba be? I don't know as there was an interruption in the link and I could not quite gather the scene. Looks like every single time he tries to love Khushi, he's haunted by the nasty memories. So, that was it!

Episode update 30/4

What shall I write about this episode.

ASR and his anger is back. While searching for his file he landed up on a wrapper and guess what? The kambakht wrapper had a name chit that said: Dear Khushi, with LOVE from SHYAM! And ASR's anger, his fears, his anguish, his every negative emotion seared high. Khushi was startled at his sudden change of behaviour towards her as he commanded her to not show her face to him.

Then came in the frame the sangeet ceremony of Khushi's friend Pritika at Gupta house. Well, the ladke wale were one bunch of idiots and nerdy people ( but the boy seemed nice) as they had come with just one aim to look down upon ladki wala's. Arnav, because his mood was put off (courtesy the gift paper) didn't show up to meet bridegroom's side. This led to more bickering by ladke wala's.

But when Arnav came to know that the boy works for his company( I'd that intution) he just ordered Aman to cancel his promotion.

The boy went totally berserk when he was told on phone that his promotion got cancelled. And when he saw Arnav in front of him, he was like: 'sir what are you doing here' Arnav ji then preached how to treat your wife and her family with respect.

Oh really Arnav ji, how about treating your wife with some respect!

Precap: Khushi overhears that it's Arnav who has saved her friend Pritika's marriage when she sees ASR talking to the boy.

27/4 Episode Update:

Loved how Khushi described her wedding today. She for one is a girl who so much wanted a grand wedding for her with all the traditions but didn't get one hence all the beautiful emotions we got to see and Arnav got to see the hidden tears of Khushi and how she masks her afflictions, sorrows and grief behind a smile. That shot was a lovely shot!

Another scene which I liked was when again he was trapping Khushi in his words. I just loved the excitement it created. Very much like the one that happened in the kissing scene during Akash payal marriage. "Agar maine repair kar diya toh kya tum voh karogi jo main kahoonga"! these were his words. Don't they sound the same. And here I was thinking that may be he'll ask for a kiss though the probability of asking for a kiss seemed zero but still I thought so. But no, he demanded for something as trivial as getting back to Shantivan!

And yes, before I end Arnav had to get compelety soaked by Khushi and man..nowadays he seems to be enjoying his wife's attempts to annoy him. He doen't get annoyed anymore but he smiles! Good good for us! May be Khushi will realize now that he is not as khadoos as she thinks of him. All her neighborhood seems to be in awe of him. He says sorry to Buaji too!

Remember how difficult it was for him to say sorry to anyone once upon a time. But now the time's changed and so has he. Here at Gupta house, he appears to be such a gentle and a humble soul. Hope Khushi sees that and realizes that her heart's dhak dhak is all because she loves him!

Episode update: Arnav bana mechanic

Hot as hotness could be!

Ok so, Arnav bana mechanic! Hmm not that bad! He did look hot while repairing the AC but he looked the best in the following scene.

When he in all his pride enlightened Khushi that she can't do everything but he can, because he is ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA and hold your breath people because he wiped off the grease mark with his thumb of Khushi's face and Khushi as usual was dumbstruck!

If required our man can also repair a toy engine. That's a good news actually because when ARHI will have their babies then Arnav's mechanic skill will save them a lot of money....:)) Not that they are short of money but still, he'll love repairing his chunnu munnu's toys!

So, another rabba vey and what a grand rabba ve it was!

Khushi on the ladder, face completely screened by her dupatta, can't see anything and there goes her knight in shining armour to save his lady love.

First, he fills his heart and soul gazing at the chaand chuppa dupatte mein and then he slowly removes the kambakht dupatta. After that, they get to hug each other as well and then comes a great fall.
Baharon phool barsao

Khushi lands on top of Arnav. Hailla, how I was waiting for this scene to happen!

Baharon phool barsao...sequence starts! Naughty kids shake the ladder and arnav and Khushi are showered with flowers. It was delectable because we got to see a smiling ASR. That was 'the moment'! ASR and his grin. He actually smiled, meaning he enjoyed that intimate moment with Khushi.

This one scene defines the entire episode for me today.

Episode update "Golguppas"

Want to scream out loud! Can't contain my happiness.

Feeding Golguppa

Tell me tell me people why did Arnav accept with alacrity to eat golgappa by Khushi? What was that?? He longs for her and pines for her and he no longer can contain that feeling to himself. It just emanates from him time to time. I just jumped out of joy to see his eagerness of eating Golguppa direct from Khushi.  If that's not love and what is?

And the way Khushi wiped his chin. Butterflies in my stomach. Today Arnav was all set to seduce Khushi. Did you all see how he moved towards her with such undisguised longing in his eyes. I knew, that nothing is gonna happen but still was excited. Excited by his expressions. Yes, Arnav Singh Raizada is all about wearing myriad of expressions. Whether, he is amused, annoyed, happy, angry, flustered, bewitched, he carries it off with a flair.

The moment came in today's episode when he had leaned towards Khushi and had held her gaze, his eyes were brimming with emotions but as usual he found himself uttering something inconsequential. Is he too afraid to speak out his feelings to her? May be yes! As he is not sure how she is gonna react to that and this all the more becomes significant when a person like ASR is the partaker. Why? Because he hates anybody denying or defying him.

Loved the fact that the neighborhood children are calling him 'jijaji'! How sweet is that! He is realizing his new relations at Gupta's.

So, Arnav is annoyed because Gupta house is flooded with people, all thanks to Khushi who invited her neighbor's guest to live with them. Since he's a man who prefers his solitude and recluse, he is in great turmoil. That's it!

A thing of beauty is a joy forever

His lopsided grin
Oh! He dreams too! Hai illa!!

Who will not fall for him!

See the glint in his eyes. Full of you-can't-beat-me attitude

His 'Oh  Really' expression

His subtle expressions are something that I always look forward to seeing every evening. When this man comes in the frame, you don't see anything else. It's him and his myriad of expressions. Need I say he is a treat to watch.

His Smirk
He chuckles. So rare he does! But when he does no one is immune to it
Such a teaser he is! Undisguised longing
